Autumn's 1st Birthday Party

Here is the birthday girl! She was in the best mood the day of her party and absolutely loved her tutu that her babysitter, Kimberly, made for her. She kept pulling it out to show everyone! Autumn was quite the little ham at her party making us all laugh :) We were so blessed to have Eric's family come join us for the party. They all had to travel a good ways to get here and we had a GREAT time together! Below are Eric's parents with the bday girl:

This is Autumn's 1st cousin and she is a cutie! One of the best parts of the weekend together was watching the 2 girls interact and play together. They sure love eachother!

Below is the story of Autumn Sue and the cupcake. We had tried to give her a cupcake twice before this day and both times she really wasn't all that interested. However, as you can see by the pictures below, she ate every last bit of it and was SO upset when it was gone.

This is my friend Brianna who made the yummy cupcakes for Autumn's party and after that might be Autumn's new favorite person :)

Autumn had a blast opening up her gifts! She is really into Dora the Explorer so she couldn't wait to tear into this box with Dora wrapping paper on it.

Overall, it was a great day celebrating Autumn with our friends and family and I think she had a blast! Thank you all so much for all the love and support you've shown Autumn, Eric and I this past year! We are so blessed to have such incredible family and friends!

Autumn's 1 Year Pictures

I still can't believe that my little baby girl turned 1 last month! It seems like this past year has just flown by! She is now a whopping 18 pounds (actually only 17 lbs, 15 oz but I like to round up :) , 27 1/2 inches long, and has 12 teeth! She eats pretty much whatever we are eating for meals now which is so nice - no more baby food! This last week she started taking a couple steps but after about 5 she gives up and decides crawling is way faster. This girl is a crazy fast crawler! Our friend Tiffany came and took some really outstanding pictures of Autumn to celebrate turning 1 so I thought I'd post my favorites. Look at this toothy grin! She started doing this where she scrunches up her eyes and it's the cutest thing! Yes, we just learned how to stick out our tongue and she thinks she is so funny when she does it! We ended up going over to a cupcake store and taking some cute pictures of Autumn with a cupcake. She really wasn't as excited about eating it as I had hoped but she had a lot of fun playing with it.
