Autumn's First Easter

Betenbough had an Easter event yesterday morning so we took Autumn by to celebrate with all our Betenbough family and to get some fun pictures with the Easter bunny and some miniature horses!
Eric with his two girls - Autumn and Eva.
Eva and Eric have been best buddies since our trip to Poland in the fall and she is just smitten with both Eric and Autumn!

Her first horse ride - Aunt Sarah would be so proud!

Eric and I took these cute pictures of Autumn when we got home from the Easter event. We had some bunny ears and an Easter basket and thought we would play around with them. They turned out pretty cute!

Can you believe she fell asleep in this?
She woke up about 5 seconds after this was taken and went nuts!

Pictures from Autumn's first 3 weeks

Here are some of our favorite pictures of Autumn. It's crazy how much she has grown in just a few short weeks! We are having such a great time just playing and interacting with her. She really is the sweetest little baby and she has totally changed our world!

This is daddy's favorite thing to do with her
when he gets home from work!

This is from our first ride in the car seat -
she looks like she is hanging on for dear life!

Could there be a more proud daddy??

She's Here!

Our precious Autumn Sue is finally here! The past 3 weeks have been a crazy, yet wonderful blur which is why I'm just now getting pictures up!

We went in bright and early (5:30am!) on March 9th for the c-section and Autumn was born at 7:51am at 6 pounds, 1 ounce and 19 inches. We were so blessed to have a dear friend from church, Jamie Stice, as our Labor and Delivery nurse, which meant she got to be right there with us through the surgery and even was able to stay with me through parts of the recovery where Eric couldn't be with me, which was extremely reassuring. Overall, the surgery went well and I've had a great and quick recovery! There was a small complication on the 2nd day after the surgery when my blood count dropped really low and I had to have a blood transfusion, but everything went well and it has helped out my recovery tremendously - I'm already feeling back to 100%!

Autumn has been amazing! She got down to 5 1/2 pounds the first week but she has been putting the weight back on and is doing extremely well! She has a very calm personality (which we have no idea where that comes from!) and is already doing great at sleeping (which has been a huge blessing for her parents!) Below, I've posted several pictures of Autumn from the first couple days when we were still in the hospital. I know I'm bias but she is a super cute baby!
