Happy Thanksgiving!

We had an incredible Thanksgiving! Eric's whole family came to join us here in Lubbock and we had a great time eating, hanging out and of course, watching football together! Here are some fun pictures that give a summary of our weekend:

Pap and Autumn - notice how she's rocking the camo! Typically Thanksgiving weekend Eric and his dad spend the whole time hunting so I had to get Autumn camo for her first Thanksgiving just for them!

Autumn and her Aunt Stephanie, Eric's sister

Autumn and her sweet cousin Bella - aren't they precious?! They are only 3 months apart and had such a fun time playing together. We are going to have so much fun with them growing up together!

Autumn's babysitter Kimberly made Autumn and Bella matching Christmas outfits so we had to get their pictures taken together. The one above is my very favorite and below are some of the best ones from the photo shoot.

Look at those big beautiful eyes!

Autumn REALLY loved the ornaments!

Look at those teeth! And yes, she sure did take off the top of one of those ornaments with them.

Bella and her mommy, Andrea, Eric's sister - look at those smiles!

Yes, she sure is kissing me! She is starting to learn how to open mouth kiss - yummy!

Autumn's First Halloween

Here are pictures of our little lamb from Halloween! She was so cute in this costume which was made even cuter because it was HUGE on her. She actually really loved being in it.

The weekend before Halloween my parents were in town, so we dressed Autumn up in her costume and took her to the pumpkin patch for the first time. There was so much to see that she was way more into everything going on around her then us trying to capture the moment with pictures.

When we got home, Grampy helped us carve a pumpkin, and Autumn really loved the little pumpkins that were just her size!

While my parents were here, Autumn was just doing the army crawl and literally 2 days after they left, she started actually crawling! Here is the first time that we captured it on video.

6 1/2 Month Photos - A Little Late!

I know these are about 6 weeks late but they are too cute not to post! The day before we headed up to Pennsylvania, I got Autumn in to get some new photos taken so we could pass them out to the family up there. She was actually feeling so sick that day but did amazingly well after some coaxing! Her little facial expressions are so cute in these!

At this point, we weren't quite able to sit up so she kept slumping in this chair!

Of course we had to show off our TTU tutu!

What in the world is this thing and why is it almost as big as me??

7 months & 1st Rangers Game

Autumn turned 7 months last weekend and I can hardly believe it! Everyone tells you they grow up so fast but you just don't understand until it starts happening. Autumn went in for her 6-month wellness check in mid-September and she is still pretty little - 13 lbs, 6 ounces (6th percentile) and 24 inches (33rd percentile). The doctor didn't seem too worried, just told us to have her eat more calories which is kinda funny because this little girl can eat! I have no idea where it all goes - I think she just burns it all off because she is constantly moving. She is going to be crawling any day now and she officially has all 6 teeth in! Hopefully, we are done teething for at least a little bit!

Autumn's 7-month birthday weekend ended up being a pretty big celebration. We drove into Dallas for the Rangers playoff game and got to see Eric's sisters and his uncle for dinner on Saturday night. We had such a great time catching up with all of them!! Sure wish we lived closer so we could have family dinners more frequently!

Below is a picture of the whole crew at dinner: Eric & Autumn, Andy & Stephanie, and Uncle Joey & his wife Michelle, who is holding Andi's baby, Bella. Bella burst into tears right as I took this picture and I love the look on Michelle's face!

Eric, his sisters, and Uncle Joey - it had been a long time since they were all together so we definitely had to capture the moment!

Andy and her precious little Bella - I'm definitely a proud aunt!

On Sunday, we got up and got ready to take Autumn to her First Rangers Game, which was a playoff game! She was quite the trooper! It was pretty hot outside and the game was over her naptime but she made friends with everyone around us and then proceeded to fall asleep on me for a few innings. We had a great time, eventhough the Rangers couldn't pull off the win :(

Look how cute this hat is!

Pennsylvania

Many of you don't know, but we decided to make a last minute, surprise trip up to Pennsylvania to see Eric's family up there. We hadn't seen some of them in 2 years and we were wanting to introduce Autumn to all of them, so we went up there for the week. It was Autumn's first plane ride and as you can see in the picture, she really liked it. She did so well - we could not have asked for more!

Autumn with her Gran-Pappy Dupler - Eric's mom's dad

Autumn sleeping on her pappy - so sweet!

This is the bear that Autumn's Gran-Pappy Dupler got her. She loved it and kept falling sleeping cuddled up with it!

Eric with his Pappy Dupler. This is the relative he got his love and knowledge of cars from.

Eric's Aunt Brenda - we got to spend time with her and her family on Sunday evening. She made us a delicious dinner and it was great to catch up with everyone.

We also got to see Eric's dad's parents - Pap & Gram Miller. Gram cooked a yummy dinner for us and Autumn had a great time playing with them. I love this picture!
Overall, it was a great trip! We loved getting to see everyone and can't wait til the next time we get back up there!

Labor Day weekend

Over Labor Day weekend, Sarah and Isaac invited us down to see their new house, so my parents and the three of us headed to Las Cruces for the weekend to hang out with the whole family. On the way there, we stopped and spent the night with Eric's parents and got to check out their beautiful new house in El Paso. We had a great time and are really loving that we can see both families in one weekend! Below is a sweet picture of Autumn and Grandma Miller.

Autumn had a ball at Aunt Sarah & Uncle Isaac's new home with all their animals - Rigley the puppy and Morgan the horse. For two horse-loving sisters, Autumn's love of horses was a dream come true! We had such a great time with the family and below are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend

These two could not stay away from each other. Rigley was so good with her!

Autumn feeding Morgan a treat. At the bottom of the page is a video of it.

Autumn was not afraid of Morgan in the slightest. She kept reaching out to him and he was so good at being gentle with her.

I LOVE this picture! The joy in Aunt Sarah and Autumn's face is priceless!

While we were in Cruces, we got to meet up with some very special friends - James & Marilyn Large - who were like 2nd parents to me growing up. It was so great to get to see them!!

This might be the best smiling picture of her we have yet! And for those of you who know my dad - eventhough he is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet, he never smiles in pictures, so this picture is really special!

A couple other significant events happened this month:

1) We have some teeth - 4 to be exact and 2 more on their way! 6 teeth in 4 weeks has to be a record, right?? In the picture below, you can see her two bottom teeth and she has 4 on the top that she is cutting right now! Besides being a little cranky, Autumn has been so great with teething. In fact, we didn't realize she was teething again until one of the top ones was already in!

2) We started eating veggies last week! This is the face we made the first time we tried peas - not a big fan; however, green beans and squash are a huge hit.

Below is the video of Aunt Sarah helping Autumn feeding Connor a treat. Love it!
